By using obsign.io and the Obsign software, you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable; where the law requires formality, the intent below governs.
1. The software
Obsign is proprietary software of Coherence Energy Labs™. The free verifier and the evaluation SDK are provided for verification, evaluation, and non-commercial use. Production signing identities and commercial embedding require a separate agreement (see pricing).
2. Pre-launch status & no warranty
Obsign is pre-launch. The site, demos, and SDK are provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Demo receipts on this site are signed with development keys and are not a production identity.
3. The honest limits of the tools
- The deterministic compute and receipts are real and verifiable, but a signature proves who signed, not that you should trust them. Establish issuer trust independently.
- The forensic analyzer reports calibrated evidence, not verdicts. Absence of a finding does not establish authenticity, and a finding is not proof of wrongdoing.
- Admissibility is the court's decision. Obsign confirms technical reproducibility criteria; it does not and cannot guarantee that any output will be admitted as evidence.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Obsign to deceive, to fabricate provenance, to misrepresent what a receipt establishes, or in violation of applicable law. Do not attempt to present development-key receipts as a trusted production identity.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coherence Energy Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the software or site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
6. Privacy
The tools run in your browser and your files are never uploaded. See the privacy policy.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes update the effective date above and appear in the changelog. Continued use means acceptance.
